Students at Woolomin Public School enjoy learning through hands-on environmental education experiences.

At Woolomin Public School, our students have the opportunity to participate in a diverse array of exciting incursions. Thank you to Kootingal Football Club for coming out to do a workshop for our students.

Students have the opportunity to participate in a different sport each term. In Term 3 of 2025, the focus was on tennis. WPS partnered with the North West Tennis Academy, who kindly sent their coach, Tom, to provide instruction for our students.

Each year, our students have the chance to acquire essential life skills, including CPR, First Aid, and snakebite training.

Our annual easter hat parade is always a huge hit! Our infants loved creating such beautiful hats this year.

Our senior students are given the opportunity to attend STEM and learnership excursions. Jaxson and Will's creation from the Science and Engineering challenge.

Woolomin Public School Hosted a Dinosaur day where our good friend Jurassic Jack came to visit with his dinosaurs! Infant students from Nundle and Dungowan PS came along to go on a dinotastic adventure with us.
